PENDZAY, Bernice Eleanor Peacefully, at Macassa Lodge on October 27, 2012, in

her 91st year, after a long and well enjoyed life. Predeceased by her loving

husband David (1996). Beloved mother of Cathie (Kevin Campbell) and John.

Cherished grandmother to David Campbell and Danielle (Mark Griffin). She was a

very special great-grandma to Reese. Survived by sisters Eunice, Joyce, Deanna

(Dave) and sister-in-law Helen Hunt. She will be sadly missed by her many

nieces, nephews, other family members and long time friends. She was a kind and

giving soul to everyone she met. She was a longtime employee of Westinghouse,

worked many years in retail, and had also owned her own children's store (The

Jack and Jill Shop). She was a member of Centenary United Church and sang in

their choir for over 50 years, was also a member of the Geritol Follies for many

years. Always the consummate performer! Special thanks to the staff at Macassa

Lodge (C and E wings) for all their wonderful care. Cremation has taken place.

An Interment service will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery (Nash Road and Barton

Street) on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A memorial service in

celebration of her life will take place at a later date at Centenary United

Church. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your

choice
